Sports Retro, LLC, a Delaware Corporation, was established in January, 2008. Our home office and production facility is located near Cincinnati, Ohio USA. Our company was designed to only produce those hard-to-find defunct logos that have "dead" or "abandoned" trademarks. We give new life to old, dead logos.

We produce a wide variety of retro sports logowear through direct-to-garment printing and custom embroidery. Additionally, we have our own in-house art services department and web development team. We create all of our apparel products "to order," meaning the items our customers purchase each receive individual quality control and attention to detail.

Most of the logos we reproduce are 100% line art, high resolution, recreated by hand after doing extensive research on each individual logo. We do not reproduce scanned images (or lo-res, web art, for example). In the case of an originally hand-drawn logo, most often we will digitally re-draw the logo by hand.

If there is an item in our apparel store that you would like but do not see your preferred logo, please contact us (by using the Feedback button located on the left side of your browser window) and we'll create it (as long as there are no trademark restrictions applied to it). We also welcome your suggestions on defunct sports leagues and teams that you are interested in.

If you have your own logo and would like an item imprinted, or you have a team that needs matching shirts, jerseys, or team warm-up gear, etc., please contact us for a special quote on short or large-run projects.

COMMUNITY

We are a proud sponsor of Herd Racing. In 2010, we sponsored the #75 Herd Racing entry of Brett Rowe in the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Daytona Int'l Speedway. We continue our support of Herd Racing in 2011 by maintaining an online, on-demand apparel store for the team.

Adam E. Schwartz - Trademark Attorney

SCHWARTZ INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LAW is a New York City-based law firm focusing on trademark, copyright media, internet, licensing and IP enforcement matters.

Founder Adam E. Schwartz has broad experience representing clients in fields including apparel, consumer products and services, media, the arts, publishing, luxury goods, technology, and industry.

Mr. Schwartz is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School where he was Associate Editor of the Michigan Telecommunications and Technology Law Review. He holds a B.A. in Government from Franklin & Marshall College, and is a member of the American Bar Association.

Michael Gaier - Social Media Manager

Michael currently resides in Charlotte, NC, and is attending the University of North Carolina earning a degree in Business Administration. When Michael isn't working or attending college, he is behind the wheel of a race car.

Michael began his racing career following in the footsteps his father took, starting with go-karts, moving to modifieds and then on to late models.  In 1997 at the ripe age of 9, Michael was a stand-out on the karting scene throughout the Midwest. Since then, Michael has achieved great success as a race car driver. In 2009 Michael worked on the #6 ARCA Series ESR team, grabbing 6 wins and the 2009 ARCA Series season championship trophy. In 2010, Michael raced in the #75 Herd Racing Late Model in 2 events, and also competed in several US Legend Series events.

Michael's experience and knowledge of Facebook and Twitter makes him a valuable asset to Sports Retro.

Rodney Dinkins - Senior Programmer

Rodney is also President of Dinkins Web Design which develops, manages, and does troubleshooting for a wide variety of clients. Rodney's vast knowledge of php programming brings a superior level of professionalism to any web-based project.

Rodney received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Gallaudet University in Washington, DC. He was employed at AT&T/Lucent Technologies Bell Labs for 8 years.

A native of Sanford, North Carolina, Rodney is the husband of Traci Dinkins and the proud father of 3 children, Hope, Faith and Ethan.
